Witco, Inc. is hiring a full-time Group Home Manager to play an essential role in our community housing program by providing excellent management for one of our homes in Ontario, OR. The Home Manager ensures that all services and supports provided to the residents living in the home are provided in a safe and secure manner. The Home Manager leads a team of support professionals and provides oversite and training. Must be able to cover shifts for a 24-hour group home setting if needed.

Essential Functions:
Our community housing program addresses the desires, goals, strengths, abilities, needs, health, safety, and life span issues of persons served by Witco. As a Group Home Manager, your main responsibility is to oversee the general operation of one of our 24/7 homes. You manage staff work schedules and plan, organize, and coordinate events. Additionally, you interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, mentor, and retain program staff. Your oversight and training help protect the health and safety of our residents. Training includes program implementation, service delivery, and medical orders.
You also assist in the development of individual person-centered plans. To make sure that we are providing the best care possible, you communicate with persons served, families, service coordinators, case managers, and ancillary personnel. Your organizational skills assist you in maintaining comprehensive and accurate resident files which include assessments, medical reports, program plans, progress notes, and data. You are driven to advocate for the rights of those we serve and protect them from any type of abuse. Ensuring their safety and care is very important to you.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GROUP HOME MANAGER
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Excellent Leadership skills
+ At least 1 year of supervised experience with individuals with developmental disabilities
+ Experience working in a certified group home
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
