SUMMARY:HGreg is looking for a detail oriented and motivated Hourly Reconditioning Technician to work in our locations. Automotive service technicians and mechanics inspect, maintain, and repair cars and light trucks.

REPORTS TO:Shop Foreman

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Identify problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipmentPlan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experienceTest parts and systems to ensure that they work properlyFollow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examinedPerform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and tire maintenanceRepair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensorsPerform repairs to manufacturer and customer specificationsExplain automotive problems and repairs to clients

Any and all other items not here listed but requested by the Shop Foreman

SCHEDULE:

8-hour shift including Saturday’s2 days off/week

LICENSE:

Must maintain a valid in-state Driver’s License and be considered insurable with the dealerships insurance policy.
