Overview The Lytle Park Hotel provides you with a choice of Free Parking or Free Monthly Bus Pass! We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional, strengths in service, thorough knowledge of the guest’s experience, and exceptional Beyond Compare service attitude for the position of Restaurant Greeter. This Expert is responsible for ensuring that all guests have the highest quality experience possible, while serving the guest in a Five Star manner. The primary responsibilities for the Restaurant Greeter will include but are not limited to: Greets guests in a prompt and courteous manner, seats guests ensuring a balanced workload among servers, issues menus, has a working knowledge of the menu and takes drink orders. Assigns stations to servers for meal period and informs servers. Processes take-out orders, may answer room service phone and process room service orders, and practices suggestive selling techniques and takes drink order for the guest on the upper terrace. Assists servers in taking payments from guests and processes transactions on the cash register following all cash handling procedures. Completes all opening/closing paperwork and documents voids on void balance sheet. Continuously checks on the needs of guests in entire restaurant and makes table visits. Responds in a proactive manner to any guest concerns to ensure satisfaction. Assists servers in bussing and setting tables, as well as pouring beverages. Assists servers in completing side work to include polishing/rolling silverware, stocking condiments and glasses, sweeping and cleaning as directed by manager. Practices “clean as you go” method, and sanitation standards. Able to carry trays and move items weighing up to 30 pounds and able to stand for 8 consecutive hours. Ensures alcohol awareness procedures are in place (TIPS) and notifies manager of any guest incidents. Has a thorough knowledge of emergency and life safety procedures, and follows all key control procedures. Provides the highest quality of service to guests at all times and practices each item on the Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group pledge card. Wears proper uniform and nametag at all times in accordance with the standards of personal appearance guidelines in the Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group handbook. Performs all other duties deemed necessary by management. Qualifications Experts at The Lytle Park Hotel must possess our core values to assist with realizing our mission of Honored Hospitality. Positive Genuine Honorable Caring Passionate Open Minded Must have at least (1) or more years of experience in Hospitality, with a combination of previous Food & Beverage in a Luxury environment preferred.
