Seminole Classic Casino pioneered Indian gaming when it opened as the country’s first large stakes bingo hall in 1979, eventually expanding with gaming machines and poker. The landmark casino is now home to over 1,000 state-of-the-art, newest-title slot machines and other local favorites such as Diamond Lottos, Fort Knox, Pirate’s Loot. The gaming leader also offers 24/7 live table game action with games including Blackjack, Baccarat, Spanish 21, Three Card Poker and many more. Seminole Classic Casino also features the Hollywood Hall entertainment pavilion and the Stage Bar, a full-service bar that features live entertainment nightly. Patrons can enjoy the EATstreet dining area with food options such as Soygood, Slice and Mojoe as well as a burger and wing joint named Flying Cow.

Responsibilities

Maintains relationship with targeted guests through personal contact in order to generate incremental gaming revenues.

 

Essential Job Functions

 

May include but are not limited to:

Maintains relationships and markets our gaming product and amenities to valued guestsGreets guests in the casino and participates in social events and special promotionsTracks guest’s visits, arranges accommodations and provides complimentaries according to established guidelinesIssues Player’s Club cards and promotes the program and related promotionsIncreases the growth of gaming revenues through development of a targeted customer baseUpdates guest history for future visitsEnsures the protection of customer’s rewards and credit linesEffectively handles customer complaints and discrepancies in an efficient and courteous mannerParticipates and extends offerings of Casino creditProvides special services to include food, beverage, transportation, cross-property events and Player’s Club programsResponsible for telemarketing to active and inactive customers by mail and phone to further develop brand loyalty and visitation to the Seminole Classic Casino and reports the results of these effortsAssists in the development of incentive programs, host goals, special events and marketing programs.Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.Keeps informed of competitive promotionsSafeguards the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.Must have excellent communication skills, tact and judgment, high moral integrity and strong work ethicConducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida/departmental policies and proceduresAchieves quotas provided by management for new card sign-ups, events, entertainment, etc. on an as need basisOther duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experienceCommitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goalsMust present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearanceMust be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred1-2 years casino experience preferredAbove average written communication skillsProficient in Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

                                                                                  

Work Environment:

Must be able to work in a smoking environmentMust be able and willing to work any shift and long hours when necessary to include working evenings, weekends and holidaysMust be able to continuously maneuver around the office and property, often standing for long hoursMust be able to respond to visual and aural cuesMust have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment Must be able to lift 30 pounds and able to bend, reach and stoop on a limited basis

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans. First preference in hiring, training, promoting and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements. Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements.
