Hospice RN Quality Manager

Addus Homecare is searching for a Quality Assurance Manager to support the Hospice Division. This division is growing and searching for a candidate with a strong focus in quality and compliance. While this position is remote, we are looking for an individual to support Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

What You'll Do:

Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of state, federal, and CHAP survey procedures and interpretive guidelines as they apply to service provided by the agencyAuditing of paper and electronic charts for placement and content of all forms as well as assuring that all charting is compliant with current federal, state, CHAP, and local standards, regulations and guidelinesProvide ongoing staff direction and support, ensuring that the electronic medical record is utilized in the correct manner and perform the needed correctionsCompiles, trends and reports quality data in the following areas: patient care, safety, risk management, infection control, outcomes, and customer satisfactionActs as a resource to Patient Care Managers regarding standards, policies, regulations and provide in service training to leadership and staff as needed in these areasMaintain confidentiality of all pertinent client care information to assure that client’s rights are protected as directed by HIPAA, including right of refusal

Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited registered nursing programValid Registered Nurse or LPN licensure for practicing state2 years experience in administrative or quality assurance capacity preferredMust possess current CPR, First Aid CertificationMust possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrantMust be knowledgeable of quality assessment and assurance proceduresMust have reliable transportation, current driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance if driving is required; or ability to take public transportation
