On an Average day, you will:

Upholds Elara Caring’s mission and vision while adhering to organizational policies, HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards.

Provides direct patient care under RN supervision, including hygiene, mobility support, vital sign monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities.

Performs specialized tasks such as ostomy care, catheter care, dressing changes, and safe use of medical equipment.

Observes and reports changes in the client's condition or environment to supervisors and follows care plans as directed.

Maintains professional appearance and positive, respectful communication with patients, families, and team members.

Responds appropriately to emergency situations and supports medication reminders without administering medication.

Participates in required training and in-service programs to maintain compliance and enhance care quality.

Promotes a safe, supportive, and patient-centered care environment aligned with Elara Caring’s philosophy.

What is Required?High School Diploma or GED equivalent required1 year of experience as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant is requiredState-established or other Hospice Aide training programValid driver’s license and insurance and reliable transportation to perform job tasks50% travel
