problem resolutionmiddot Resolves patient care problems collaboratively with internalexternal customersmiddot Anticipates customer needs and responds quickly accurately and pleasantlymiddot Implements and follows through on hospice aide care new hire orientation program with input from Care Management and Quality Management departmentsmiddot Coordinates hospice care aide new hire orientation process including competency validationmiddot Participates in the development of annual in service programs in association with the Care Management and Quality Management departmentsmiddot Monitors and communicates regulatory and accreditation changes relative to the hospice care aide area Functions as a resource to othersmiddot Ensures appropriate resource utilization to meet client needsmiddot Manages hospice care aide pool providing guidance to scheduling functionmiddot Hires trains coaches and evaluates hospice aide staffmiddot Conducts home visits with staff to supervise and evaluate performance identifies and follows through with development planmiddot Determines staffing needs and coordinates hiring to meet service demandsmiddot Participates in preceptor programs and student
