We are looking for a Full Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a position in the Home Hospice setting. This position offers a lot of flexibility, as the nurse schedules directly with their own patients, therefore you get to decide when you start and end your day to a large degree, and you can schedule your patients around your own life appointments and events. The nurse will be making visits to the homes of patients with subacute med/surg diagnoses. We will consider Licensed Practical Nurses who have at least 1 year of experience with adult or geriatric medical/surgical patients such as in the SNF, rehabilitation, hospital, Home Health, or Hospice settings. HOME HEALTH CARE LPN JOB REQUIREMENTS:  It is NOT required that the LPN have Hospice or Home Health experience, however we will consider Licensed Practical Nurses who have at least 1 year of recent experience working with adult and geriatric medical / surgical patients in any of the following settings: Rehabilitation Center / skilled nursing facility SNF, home health care / visiting nurse setting, rehab hospital, correctional facility, hospital / medical center, Intensive Care Unit ICU, Medical Intensive Care Unit MICU, Surgical Intensive Care Unit SICU, Definitive Observation Unit DOU, Critical Care Unit CCU, float / pool nurse.  The licensed practical nurse must have been trained as a licensed practical nurse.  The licensed practical nurse must have a current LPN license in the state.  The licensed practical nurse must be willing and able to work Full Time hours. The LPN must either be a US Citizen or have your green card-- no exceptions.

3. This is not shift work, but is seeing 3-7 pt./day in their homes or senior living facilities. You will be driving from patient home to patient home & most patients will be close together but sometimes you may have to drive 20-40 minutes to reach a patient's home, therefore; about half your day will be spent driving. Traveling is part of your salary plus you will get additional pay for mileage, but I want to make sure that you are fine with traveling as that is an integral part of home Hospice?
