Position Summary
The Home Health Auditor is responsible for ensuring the quality, and compliance of home health services. This role involves conducting detailed audits of patient records, clinical documentation, and verifying that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate before billing can occur to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices. The auditor will identify areas for improvement, and work closely with the care coordinators, the clinical supervisor, and the clinical manager to implement quality assurance and performance improvement programs. Key responsibilities include monitoring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, preparing for regulatory inspections, and providing training to clinicians. Additionally, the auditor will focus on infection prevention by evaluating infection control practices, monitoring infection prevention guidelines, and providing education and training to staff on infection control measures. Also performs similar responsibilities related to Michelle P. Waiver Program and Home and Community Based Waiver Program.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN) or individual with equivalent education and experience in home health required. MDS experience preferred.
