DESIGN DELIVERY MANAGER – Procter & Gamble Home CARE

The Design Delivery Manager collaborates with Design (Design Manager and internal/external design agencies), Product Supply artwork team and external partners (artwork production agencies, printers) and multi-discipline internal/external partners, on packaging artwork projects throughout the design development and design execution. To ensure that our Design Intent is consistently implemented across all product forms and variants at the First Moment of Truth.

What You’ll Do:

Ensure design intent realization by utilizing deep understanding of brand equity, design principles, supply chain fit-for-use requirements, pre-press and print feasibility. Responsible for executing with excellence.Partners with pre-press & printers to assess print feasibility of design concepts, identify alternate solutions, plan & attend print trials, confirm final design intent print feasibility, ensure visual consistency delivered at shelf, and resolve quality issues.Plans and manages design execution work and critical path schedule, owns elevating issues, with implications, to key business partners, at-the-right-time, to enable informed decision-making and effective resolution, and drive on-time/on-quality artwork file delivery.Plan and manage design execution work and critical path schedule using WebCenter.Lead small design projects with agencies and create hands-on design intent solutions (i.e. copy fit, adaptation across sizes/variants, custom requests, etc.).Independently and collaboratively brings innovative ideas/search & reapply learning that drive continual improvements in both design quality and efficiency.Proactively explores both cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities. Able to accurately track all Design Delivery metrics on a quarterly/annual basis.Builds capability & mastery in self and Design delivery community, and actively drives organization/company process transformation efforts.Core competencies: growth mindset, design proficiency, attention to detail, managing complexity, agility

Job Qualifications

Education:

Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Design or equivalent Packaging Work Experience.

Requirements (Skills/Experience) for the role:

Experience in Design Production & Print (Design Agency, Pre-Press Agency, Production House, Printer) within the CPG industry (preferred).Understanding of Design, the Design creative process (concept through design production), brand equity, design assets, brand identity systems, production guidelines, and the importance of visual consistency in design intent & print quality.Deep understanding of pre-press and printing industry standards, print production processes, press capabilities, inks, materials/substrates, specialty inks/finishes, proofing, and print trials. Experience with color theory and color management, color development process, spectral color data, and digital proofing. Munsell Test score of ‘Average Discrimination’ minimum, ‘Superior Discrimination’ preferred.Strong project and time management skills, experience leading multiple high complexity projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and follow-through.Strong collaboration skills with multifunctional teams and external agencies/partners.Problem-solving skills and flexibility in an environment of frequent change.High level of capacity. Disciplined with the ability to set priorities, manage time and be accountable.Strong business communication planning and execution skills both verbal and written with the ability to collect, compile and present information effectively and concisely.Software fluency in the latest graphics, business, and AI tools: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat), Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel), ChatGPT (or similar).
