Hockey Goalie Coach - Morgan Park Sports Center

POSITION: Hockey Goalie Coach

REPORTS TO: Hockey Coordinator

EMPLOYEE TYPE: PT/Non-Exempt

Morgan Park Sports Center is seeking a passionate and experienced Hockey Goalie Coach to join our dynamic coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in goaltending, a positive coaching style, and a commitment to developing goalies at all levels—from youth beginners to advanced competitive players.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and lead on-ice goalie-specific training sessions (individual and group).

Develop and implement goalie development plans for players across various age groups.

Collaborate with team coaches to provide in-game and practice support for goalies.

Provide video analysis and performance feedback to goalies and parents when applicable.

Support goalie development during team practices, skills sessions, and clinics.

Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and inclusive environment on and off the ice.

Communicate with Goalies/Goalie Parents on progression, and scheduling.

Complete other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Prior experience as a hockey goalie (playing and/or coaching).

Strong understanding of goalie fundamentals, techniques, and current training trends.

USA Hockey coaching certification (or willingness to obtain).

Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff.

Must pass a background check and adhere to all SafeSport guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience coaching at the youth, high school, AAA, or collegiate level.

Hourly Rate: $18.50
