The Church History Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is looking for a historic sites preservation specialist to work as part of the Church History Department Historic Sites – West Region. As a member of the department’s historic sites division, this individual will assist in managing and preserving the sacred settings of the Restoration so they can bear witness to the world that God has restored His Church and Kingdom in the last days.
This is a full-time position located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Historic Sites – West Region preservation specialist works daily in the Church History Library in Salt Lake City and travels regularly to the historic sites in California (Mormon Battalion Site), Utah (Brigham Young Winter Home, Jacob Hamblin Home, St. George Tabernacle, Cove Fort, Beehive and Lion Houses), Wyoming (Mormon Trail Sites), Nebraska (Mormon Trail Center), and Iowa (Kanesville Memorial).
