Pay: $23-26/hr - PAID WEEKLY

Job Description

To program and operate steel processing equipment including press brakes, lasers, and plasmas as directed by the supervisor/manager and/or any other nominated person; ensuring a constant flow of quality, correct work is produced in a timely manner as per the production schedule.

ResponsibilitiesOperate and program machines, measure, and position material in assigned machines to cut/form/fold material to specified size as per M3 ERP system.Program and operate machines to control speed, material feed, and path of cut, ensuring the machine is set up correctly.Select materials and prepare specification settings as per manufacturing order instructions.Record capacity times and wastage through the M3 ERP system.Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance.Operate overhead/jib cranes and forklifts as required to move stock.Minimize material waste by best practice utilization.Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and good working order.Communicate with management regarding any parts/machine discrepancies that need immediate rectification.Clock each job in and out using the computer system.Keep the workshop area, including the floor, clean, tidy, and in a safe working condition.Ensure compliance with OH&S, company policies, and legislation.Be responsible for the care and use of all workshop tools and equipment and return them to the correct place after use.Perform other duties as required from time to time.Essential SkillsExtensive experience using steel processing machines in a manufacturing environment.Understanding of tooling.Good hand/eye coordination.Ability to read drawings, job specifications, and instructions.Competent computer skills.IF INTERESTED APPLY DIRECTLY TO POST OR TEXT 319 720 3461
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
