We are hiring for our Inbound Equipment Operators! Please apply and more information will be provided to you in regards to the hiring event!

Shift is Monday - Friday, 5am start

Pay Rate: $19

Job Summary:

The Inbound Equipment Operator is responsible for efficiently handling inbound shipments within the warehouse. This role involves unloading, verifying, and placing inventory correctly using various equipment and technologies, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards.​

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Unloading:

Unload pallets and cases from inbound trailers and containers manually or using equipment such as pallet jacks.​

Accurately count, verify, and document received products using Radio Frequency (RF) equipment and/or Voice Pick Technology.​

Inventory Management:

Place incoming merchandise into designated storage locations within the warehouse.​

Conduct physical inventories and maintain accurate records of stock levels.​

Order Picking and Sortation:

Select products and quantities as directed by Voice Pick Technology and/or RF scanners, placing items into totes on conveyor belts.

Prepare sortation areas by setting up pallets and carts, moving cartons and totes from conveyor belts to appropriate locations.​

Loading:

Use RF scanners to ensure totes, pallets, and carts are correctly loaded onto trucks for customer delivery.​

Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to load pallets safely.​

Safety and Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures.​

Report any hazards or equipment issues to management promptly.​

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.​

General knowledge of basic topics such as math, reading, and basic accounting.​

Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus.​

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced, team environment.​

Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.​

Dependable with regular punctual attendance.​

Willingness to learn and operate new material handling equipment and technologies.​

Ability to adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures and safety rules.​

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy boxes, with weights varying depending on operational needs.​

Capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.​

Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.​

Work Environment:

Warehouse environment - climate controlled​

Exposure to noise from warehouse equipment and machinery.
