Salary Range: $100,000-$155,000 annually Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. The primary function of this role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following: + Oversee the development, design, and execution of highway engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements. + Serve as the technical expert and guide the team on best practices and issue resolution. + Maintain adequate staffing and optimize resource allocation for projects ensuring team utilization targets are met. + Ensure technical work is completed within project budget. + Maintain effective communication with project managers, clients, and other departments. + Document technical processes and collaborate with stakeholders as needed. + Implement and oversee quality control processes, ensuring high standards. + Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team performance. + Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. + Contribute to the organization's technical strategy and forecast future needs. + Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education & Experience + B.S./B.A. degree in Civil Engineering or related field + 8-15 years of professional experience + Professional licensure or ability to obtain licensure as appropriate for department or expertise + Prior staff management experience is preferred.
