Position Details:

Outpatient and infusion Survivorship, acute and routine visits, toxicity visits, chemo teaches, and infusion coverage Clinic is open Monday – Friday; Schedule consists of 4 days/10-hour shift or 5 days/8 hour shifts 2 Physicians, 2 APPs Opportunity for chemo certification and bone marrow biopsy training

 

This APP functions primarily in the outpatient setting caring for a mix of solid tumor oncology as well as hematology patients and demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, high acuity work environment. Qualified candidates will be able to perform thorough history and physical assessment. 

 

Ideal Candidate:

At least 1 year of experience in hematology/oncology working as an APP Effective communication (written and verbal) Willingness to collaborate closely with clinical team Current on best practice and standards of care Displays self-initiative to learn
