Help Desk Analyst II
Description We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II. Based in Rome, New York, this role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Help Desk Analyst II, you will be responsible for maintaining local hardware infrastructure, providing advanced technical support, and training staff on technology usage. Responsibilities • Maintain and troubleshoot various technology-related devices including servers, phones, PCs, mobile devices, and security systems. • Establish and manage relationships with technology suppliers to ensure optimal service. • Provide advanced technical support and training to staff on desktop computers, applications, remote access, phones, and related technology. • Design and coordinate employee IT training programs and materials. • Plan and execute procurement and deployment of IT hardware, security-related hardware, and mobile devices while maintaining accurate asset records. • Engage in specialized projects as assigned and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. • Develop and maintain the IT budget while also managing the on-site server and infrastructure. • Provide guidance to the Desktop Support Technician to achieve department goals and objectives. • Ensure adherence to food safety policies and regulations, and actively participate in Incident Management and Recall. • Conduct regular maintenance of the on-site server and infrastructure. Please note that skills required for this role include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, Desktop Support, and Desktop Hardware. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites • Demonstrable experience in Desktop Support • Knowledge of Desktop Hardware • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Familiarity with food and food processing industry is a plus • Strong customer service skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively • Must have a proactive and positive attitude towards problem-solving • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High level of integrity and professionalism • Must be detail-oriented and organized • Availability to work in shifts if required.
