Help Desk Analyst I
Description We are on the hunt for a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team in Northfield, Vermont. This role revolves around providing comprehensive support for mobile devices within the education sector. The chosen candidate will be tasked with aiding device integration, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless platform functionality. This is a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Respond to user support inquiries regarding mobile devices and technology support. • Install, deploy, maintain, and provide support for mobile devices, accessories, and other technology solutions. • Offer basic and advanced networking support for various mobile platforms, ensuring compatibility with university systems. • Provide telecommunication support, including mobile VoIP management and troubleshooting. • Handle mobile device-related inquiries from students, faculty, and staff, particularly in remote learning environments. • Troubleshoot classroom technology issues involving mobile devices and audio-visual equipment. • Assist with large-scale technology transitions and provide emergency support during critical times. • Support mobile device printing solutions and events requiring mobile technology support. • Deliver training sessions on the use of the latest mobile technologies for academic and administrative purposes. • Collaborate with team leaders on mobile technology projects to ensure devices meet the evolving needs of the academic environment. • Manage hardware inventory and ensure devices are optimized and updated for future needs. • Support mobile technology integration projects that leverage third-party platforms. • Stay updated on emerging mobile technologies to advance the institution's goals and improve overall mobile device adoption. • Assist with device deployment and management through the university's mobile device management (MDM) solution. • Troubleshoot mobile device connectivity in classroom environments and resolve any technical issues. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Help Desk Analyst • Proven expertise in Mobility Management • Demonstrable experience with Mobile Device Management • Proficiency in Mobile Device Support • Experience in providing End-User Support • Familiarity with Voice over IP (VoIP) technology • Extensive knowledge of Apple iOS • Experience with Android operating systems • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be advantageous.
