Position Purpose: Provide hands-on training to corporate quality staff and line of business partners. Training will encompass, but not limited to: Star measures and HEDIS or HEDIS like measures. Liaise to ensure training curriculum and content reflect the latest quality requirements.

***The HEDIS Clinical Trainer is primarily remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.***

Responsibilities:

Facilitate in-person and virtual clinical trainingsIdentify, select and develop, in conjunction with subject matter experts, plan-specific curriculum content and teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference workCoordinate and build collaborative working relationships with subject matter experts and preceptors within specific health plans or conduct train-the-trainer sessionsEvaluate training needs and effectiveness of training programs, and communicate results to managementMaintain records of training activities and employee progressAssist in auditing work performed by staff and present findings and recommendations for areas of improvement to managementAssist with revisions to policy and procedures and/or work process developmentShare best training practices with other trainersResearch, analyze, and recommend external training programsTravel as required

Highly Preferred Skills:

3+ years of HEDIS experience2+ years as a LPN or RNPrior training experience

Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in nursing; 2+ years of experience in nursing, managed care, training, or related field. LPN or RN license required.

Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $97,100.00 per year
