Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description: 

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic,

you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining

large construction machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes,

and loaders. Your tasks will include troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic

issues, replacing worn parts, performing routine maintenance checks, and making

necessary adjustments to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. This

role often requires the ability to read blueprints, utilize specialized tools,

and travel to job sites to service equipment in the field.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment.Repair and maintain machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, and loaders.Perform routine maintenance checks and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation.Replace worn parts and perform minor repairs on hydraulic systems, including fluid, hoses, and pumps.Read blueprints and utilize specialized tools for equipment maintenance and repair.Travel to job sites to service equipment in the field as required.

Essential Skills:

Experience working with large construction earth-moving equipment.Mechanical experience.Experience in minor hydraulic repairs, including fluid, hoses, and pumps.Experience with diesel engines and excavators.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Welding experience.Military mechanic experience.Trade school certifications.Preferred 3+ years of experience in the mechanical field.
