**Job Title: Electric Motor Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Electric Motor Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling and testing small electric motors, weighing roughly one pound each. This role involves working with very small parts in a repetitive, high-production environment. While J-Standard certification is a plus, it is not required. **Responsibilities** + Assemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools. + Follow manufacturing test procedures and implement continuous improvement ideas. + Read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings. + Place parts in specified relationships to each other, either as sub-assemblies or final assemblies, using soldering, clips, screws, or fastening methods. + Rotate to different work stations as production needs require. + Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials. + Verify that outside labels and unit labels match for all packet parts. + Clean equipment and work areas by performing daily and weekly safety checks. **Essential Skills** + Electronic and/or mechanical assembly experience. + Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings. + Experience with machine tool operations and production tooling and fixtures. + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand throughout the duration of the shift. + Ability to bend, twist, and reach. + Proficiency in reading, understanding, and speaking English. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
