ASSOCIATE – HEALTHCARE LITIGATION

Our client, a top-tier AmLaw 100, national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated mid-level Associate to join their national Healthcare Litigation practice in the Charleston office.

Candidate Profile:

JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Bar Admission in South Carolina required. 4+ years of experience in health care litigation or complex litigation. Substantial writing experience, with the ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision. Strong experience in litigation, including drafting motions and briefs, and preparing depositions. Preference for candidates with federal litigation experience. Having a background in healthcare reimbursement compliance, defense, and litigation, especially in government and private payer disputes, is highly advantageous. Superb research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to quickly and effectively navigate complex subject matter.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage health care litigation matters, including drafting motions, briefs, and preparing for depositions. Engage in federal litigation and health care reimbursement disputes. Provide strategic counsel on complex litigation matters and deliver strong final work products with little supervision. Work collaboratively with the national health care litigation team, contributing to the growth of the practice. Navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.
