DESCRIPTION: Actalent is hiring for a Project Manager to join a reputable Architecture Firm in Downtown Columbus, Ohio with a primary focus on healthcare design. The Project Manager will be responsible for the following:

Oversee and Manage all aspects of the Project Management Cycle including establishing Project Schedules, Kick-Off Meetings, Maintaining Schedules throughout the project, and Communication with clients, consultants, and designersMonitoring Staffing Plans and Projected Workloads to meet expected timelines, budgets, and profitabilityReview and Assist staff in setting budgets, goals, and preparing work plans that define expectationsWork with Accounting to invoice clients for services and Resolve collection of aged accounts and financial issues with clientsEnsure that Project Managers support and follow design intent and that documents are Reviewed for quality, coordination, and compliance within requirements of deliverables and client standardsReview cost estimates and Conduct value analysisResolve plan check and Approval issues with both agencies and clientsAssist Practice Group Leaders in developing and validating project scope, and Fee, Budget, and Scope of services during marketing and contract developmentAssist in Preparing project presentationsAssist in the Preparation and Execution of consultant contracts and fee negotiation

The Project Manager will also be responsible for the following Business Development and Client Interface responsibilities:

Manage an average net project revenue of $1M-$2M/yr. in new contracts through existing clients and new business developmentServe as the Primary Proponent on project pursuits to establish strong relationships with clientsUse Market and Client intelligence in locating new opportunities, prepositioning, preparing quals/proposals, and interviewingWork with existing clients to Identify upcoming Architectural needs that can lead to project opportunitiesEnsure that Additional Services requested by the client are Billed and Invoiced appropriatelyDevelop a network of current and past clients and industry partnersDirect overall verbal and graphic communication of complex project concepts to clients, public agencies, and project team members while Serving as a primary contact for issuesWrite RFP's and Negotiate contracts and fees with clients and consultantsWrite leadership articles for Architecture and Construction IndustryParticipates in selected marketing and business development opportunities while Assisting in the development of fee and marketing proposals

MUST HAVES:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture5-8 years of Architectural Project Management (Focus in Healthcare preferred)High-level understanding of design within RevitExperience with scoping, scheduling, and budgeting projects while managing multiple projects at once
