Health & Safety Manager- Dublin 

To €75,000 DOE + Package + Transport    

Our client is an established Tier 1 contractor with extensive operations across Ireland, UK, and Europe. Due to a full order book across all regions, our client is now looking for a proactive Health & Safety Manager in Dublin. As a Health & Safety Manager your duties will include developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs across the projects. The ideal candidate should possess a robust background in construction safety and dedication to ensuring a secure working environment, and the capability to lead a team in achieving our safety objectives.   

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:    

Assist the Business Unit Health and Safety Manager in leading the development of Health & Safety leadership & culture in the workplace.  

Ensure full compliance with local and national Health and Safety legislation pertaining to the project construction phase and offices.  

Develop project-specific health & safety strategies, programs, and plans in partnership with Group Health and Safety.  

Coordinate health and safety program elements addressing site access, security, project induction, first aid, welfare, and emergency arrangements.  

Coordinate and manage on-site health and safety resources.  

Establish a process of active health and safety monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities.  

Monitor and report on health and safety performance and challenges using predefined leading and lagging health and safety performance indicators.  

Influence employee work practices through dialogue, relationship building and behavioral safety coaching.  

Ensure appropriate and effective emergency response, case management, incident investigation and reporting mechanisms are in place to facilitate learning from incidents (LFI).  

Attend meetings regularly & contribute to the best of your knowledge.  

Degree/ qualifications in Health and Safety Management.  

Updated understanding of health and safety principles with proven technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines.  

5+ years' experience in H&S roles within construction. 

Proven management, problem-solving & communication skills.  

Proficiency in H&S software & tools.
