This includes, but is not limited to, processing documents, reviewing records for deficiencies, communicating those opportunities appropriately, and preparing data elements for coding. The ability to monitor chart and data quality and to work with physician and/or department staff is critical. **Education and/or Experience** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. + One year of previous health information management experience is preferred. **Licensure/Certification/Registration** + If performing position from an IA based facility the following is required: + Completion of Child & Dependent Adult Abuse for Iowa Mandatory Reporters course within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter. **Work Schedule** + Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; 48 hours every 2 weeks **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
