What your role is Job Overview General Mills Hellas S.A. is looking for a Health, Safety and Environment Engineer at its industrial facility located in Oinofyta, Viotia. While helping us build our Human Safety Culture at Inofita Plant, you are expected to act as a Subject Matter Expert and lead the Site’s Human Safety and Environmental compliance by following Greek legislation and General Mills Global Standards. Main Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Safety and Environmental legislation Ensures the impact of regulatory changes on the businesses are being managed Ensures completion and submittal of all required Environmental reports for the facility. Inspect the site conditions (e.g. facilities, processes, tools, equipment), define possible hazards and propose corrective/preventative actions Assess, investigate and track incidents and near misses and gather evidence about their causes Construct and implement the annual HSE plant improvement plans Determine training needs, design and implement HSE training programs (e.g. safety guidelines, emergency situations, use of Personal Protective Equipment etc.) Advise the Plant Leadership Team and key stakeholders for HSE related gaps and help establish best practices in the shop floor Monitors facility performance against S&E goals and objectives and communicates results to Central Safety Committee.
