The downtown area of Hudson affords students ample opportunities for community skill-building, relationship development and recreation.https://darnellschool.org/ Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Degree Responsibilities We are searching for a motivated and driven Head Teacher that enjoys working with students with autism and IDD and has a desire to contribute to their lives in positive ways. We are looking for a passionate TEAM member who is committed to making a difference every day. You will be responsible for up to six students in the class.You will work closely as a team with the Behavior Specialist and Case Managers to conduct educational, behavioral, and vocational assessments, write and implement IEPs, monitor progress on IEP objectives.You will work directly will students, supervise all classroom staff, collaborate with related service providers, and provide in-home parent training on a monthly basis.Ideal candidates hold a Massachusetts license in Severe Special Ed K-12, the ability to deliver instruction using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, experience in supervising classroom staff, and experience in serving students in community-based and vocational settings.If you are ready to be a leader in the field of ABA and work in a supportive and collaborative environment, come join us!Benefits
