Main Duties & Accountabilities: Sales Leadership: Lead the development and execution of robust sales strategies to achieve ambitious sales targets and drive sustained business growth across multiple retail channels, including DIY, E-commerce, and Wholesale. Strategic Growth: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by analyzing market trends and emerging consumer behaviors within the region. Drive long-term growth and market share expansion by implementing innovative strategies. Channel Management: Optimize the performance of each sales channel (DIY, E-commerce, and Wholesale). Ensure channel-specific strategies are aligned with overall business objectives and are continuously refined based on market conditions and consumer insights. P&L Responsibility: Take full ownership of the Profit & Loss statement for the business unit. Develop and implement comprehensive plans to improve profitability, reduce costs, and maximize revenue across all channels. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales and operations team. Provide strategic direction, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team alignment with company goals. Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with key customers and partners in each channel. Identify customer needs and ensure satisfaction through tailored solutions and service excellence. Market Intelligence: Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive research to stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities. Use insights to adapt and refine sales strategies, maintaining a competitive edge. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and operations, to align business priorities and achieve optimal sales performance. Reporting & Analytics: Regularly monitor and report on key sales metrics, growth drivers, and KPIs. Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management. Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage the sales forecast, budgeting process, and resource allocation to ensure targets are met while maintaining financial discipline.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field Over 10 years of experience in retail management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing sales across multiple channels such as DIY, E-commerce, and Wholesale. Proven track record of driving sales and achieving growth targets in the retail sector within the Middle East or similar markets. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, build high-performing organizations, and achieve set goals. Deep understanding of the retail landscape, consumer behavior, and key trends in the Middle East, with experience in local regulatory and cultural nuances Extensive knowledge of retail sales strategies, digital commerce, and wholesale distribution models. Familiarity with Supply Chain management, preferably including involvement in outsourcing initiatives. Understanding of product and range management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage P&L, budgets, and financial forecasting effectively. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders, customers, and partners. Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
