This role is part of a high performing Business Leadership team reporting into the Vodafone Business Director.
The Head of Solution Sales will be accountable for growing profitable revenues across all of Vodafone’s multiple next generation Solutions portfolio including software defined connectivity, IoT, Security, Cloud, Saas and Unified Communications This role will lead and expand a specialised team of Solution Sellers and Solution Design Architects to deliver ambitious market opportunities through a deep understanding of our customer’s businesses and the outcomes they seek to achieve.
The Head of Solution Sales is a high profile member of the Vodafone Business leadership team and will play a key role in shaping and delivering our strategic objectives for both immediate & long term profitable growth.
Key Accountabilities Own and deliver sales targets for the Solution Sales function, in line with Vodafone Business strategy through design architects & solution sales teams.Partner with our Account Management team to jointly develop and execute our customer growth strategyChampion an exceptional customer experience for Business customers throughout the sell & build customer lifecycle stages.Own the full sales cycle for our Solution portfolio from qualified lead to deal close.Understand and influence our customer segment market opportunities through strategic customer engagements, stakeholder mapping, and industry participation.Collaborate & influence with Commercial, Product, Marketing and Delivery experts to propose compelling value propositions to address and influence business customer requirements.Proactive understanding of the external competitive landscape, ensuring Vodafone propositions remain competitive and innovative.Support our brand position in the market as a leader in technical solutions for business customers through strategic external and customer engagements.Lead, drive and motivate a high-performance Sales & Architect teamCo-design and ownership of Vodafone Business long term strategy and execution plan.Deliver overall Vodafone Business objectives as member of the Vodafone Business Leadership Team. We are Looking for you if you have Must be technically competent, with solid understanding of Irish business customers solution requirements across multiple segments.Proven track record at Sales leadership level in the Irish ICT marketplace.Must have prior experience in the technology industry or related with experience of IT marketplace and Technical Sales.Experienced in a large complex organisation characterised by matrixes resources, cross functional stakeholder management, and ability to garner support from cross functional groups.Must have technical / professional qualifications:
Educated to degree level in a relevant technical or business discipline.Experienced at influencing and negotiation at C-suite level, building long term strategic relationships for Vodafone.Well-developed interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to empathise, engage and build business relationships.Strong internal relationship builder – can effectively navigate internal processes and influence across the business ‘to get things done’.Strong sales leadership experience – Sets and communicates direction, defining and implementing strategy and change, making decisions, inspiring people to commit resources and follow a direction.A deep understanding of customer’s businesses, their markets and industries.Who We AreVodafone is pioneering Ireland's gigabit society.
