This includes the embedded system in the drives, (I)IoT and connection for operational data to cloud or on-premise solutions, data analytics and customer frontends. + Analysis of requirements, creation of related concepts and architectures as well as guiding the development of innovative IoT solutions for intelligently connected equipment and predictive maintenance are part of your work. You are leveraging the potential of state-of-the-art technologies to realize a scalable and high-performance ecosystem. + Compliance of all solutions with all relevant cybersecurity demands as well as the applicable standards is a must. + Beyond the direct architectural work, you are also strongly contributing to the methodology both for architecture development and for the agile development process. You are aligning respective internal standards with the respective stakeholders. As a thought leader you are responsible to develop and establish the mindset, processes and tooling for modular and globally harmonized SW-architectures in your team and the organization. You support and drive the system architecture in alignment with the hardware design team as well as all relevant functions in the organization. + You are responsible for the cross-product definition of standards across locations. + Communication and explanation of the concepts and decisions to all functional levels in the organization including the top management are also an important part of the role. + Disciplinary management of the architecture team and technical coaching of project teams are part of the job. **Your Profile** + You have a completed degree in computer science, business informatics, software engineering or comparable qualification. + Your track record includes multiple years of experience with strategic work in software architecture in guild structures for cloud-based applications as well as (I)IoT while not neglecting embedded software. + State-of-the-art methods to define, evaluate, model, implement and document complex distributed software architectures in a structured way are part of your toolset. This includes model-based development approaches. You are holding internationally recognized certificates in software architecture. + In your general mindset, you are a pioneer for new technologies, a team player in agile projects, show leadership in technological topics and bring in extensive experience in getting concepts over the finish line. + Both agile and classic development processes along with modern software architecture principles like DDD, TDD of BDD as well as the required development software toolset are your daily business. + You are experienced in state-of-the art software development standards including cybersecurity. + Based on your fluent communication skills both in German and in English, you are able to present your ideas and concepts to all levels of the organization. + As a team player, you are capable to motivate and guide a team.
