The Opportunity:
We – Ritter, part of Avantor – are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales & Customer Success – Medical (m/f/d) to lead the multi-dimensional team in driving revenue growth, enhancing market share, and fostering strong relationships with OEM customers and distributors, as well as leading customer interaction and related customer services.

Requirements:
A university degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field; PhD not required, but serves as big plus
Extensive experience in sales management, with a proven track record of success
Fluency in German and English as absolute must; any additional languages are an advantage
Exceptional communication skills, with a strong ability to motivate and lead teams
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform effectively under pressure
Demonstrated expertise in market analysis and territory development
Strong business acumen coupled with outstanding negotiation and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce or other CRM tools is preferred
Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally
As we are located in Schwabmünchen (Bavaria), we are looking for someone who is able to be on-site 2-3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire the international sales team to achieve revenue and profit targets
Assign territories, set sales goals, and ensure accountability for performance with OEM customers and distributors
Collaborate closely with in-house Product Management and R&D to shape market strategies for both new and existing products
Train and coach distributors to enhance their capabilities and improve customer service
Develop and implement innovative sales strategies while managing pricing policies effectively
Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and detailed performance reports
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, providing product training and support as needed
Represent the company at trade exhibitions and deliver impactful distributor training and presentations
