Your tasks and responsibilities:You lead the R&D magnet department within a global agile Magnetic Resonance Imaging product development process in the (pre-) development and design of superconducting magnets, from concepts to production transferYou develop and implement the R&D strategic magnet roadmap in line with the overall MR business strategyYou ensure that all product development activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standardsYou cultivate and build a high-performing R&D team, attracting and retaining top talent in superconducting magnet technologyYou foster a culture of collaboration with international cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and procurement to ensure seamless product integration and market success You encourage knowledge sharing and technical exchange within the R&D teams across the global organizationYou collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and academic institutions to drive innovation and maintain Siemens Healthineers' leadership in the MR market

Your qualifications and experience:You hold a PhD or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related fieldYou are ideally specialized in superconducting magnets or other related technologiesYou have a minimum of 10 years of experience in R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership role specializing on superconducting magnets or similar technologiesYou possess a proven track record of managing the complete product lifecycle in a regulated industry, preferably in medical devicesYou are familiar with product development methodologies and regulatory compliance
Your attributes and skills:You have proven leadership abilities with strong team management skillsYou are results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityYou have excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholdersYou are a team player with experience collaborating in international, cross-functional environmentsYou are a strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and technology
