Job DescriptionTeam Summary
The Products & Value-Added Service (VAS) team in Thailand is responsible for developing product strategy, providing the thought leadership, long-term strategy / design for consumer payments and will be responsible for achieving the markets’ VAS revenue and sales targets across all categories including Risk and Data Solutions, Issuing Solutions, Digital Solutions, Network Solutions, and Innovation across the market.
This team will have significant interaction with the SMT (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand cluster and Regional Market Support Centre product teams) and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Visa. In addition, the Products & VAS team also serve as key influencers of the broader payments and VAS strategy in the market that helps drive innovation and growth in the large ecosystem.
What a Head of Products & VAS does at Visa:
The Head of Products & VAS, Thailand will be responsible to lead the Thailand Products & VAS team, working closely with the Country Manager. The position will have significant interaction with all the major cross functional teams within Thailand and Regional Market Support Center Products & VAS teams – Sales, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Consulting & Analytics, Client Services and Government Relations.
The primary responsibilities of the Head of Products & VAS, Thailand would include
Develop, deliver and activate consumer payments strategies across card and non-card paymentsAchieve key financial / business metric performance indicators for Visa Thailand products including revenue, operating expense budgets, CIF (credentials in force), payment volume and transaction volume, customer satisfaction scoreDevelop strategy for products and VAS for Thailand, including identifying market opportunities for new Visa products (card and non-card) value proposition and go-to-market strategyCollaborate with financial institution clients (GTM partners) to identify opportunities and successful launch or refresh clients’ Visa offeringsDevelop pipeline of product enhancements, developments and acceleration plans and launch new product initiatives on time, within budget and across multiple clientsLead solution designs to meet clients’ needs collaborating with Visa subject matter expertsBridge client’s business leaders, technical leaders and relevant parties to advance solution implementationAct as the senior-level point-of-contact for clients on innovation, consumer, digital solutions and major payments trends / developmentsLead the Thailand Products & VAS team, a team of innovative and engaged individuals focused on delivering best in class products to address local customer preference and anticipated needsWhy this is important to Visa

QualificationsWhat you will need:
15+ years of experience and strong understanding of trends and themes in payments and commerce, futurist outlook and passion for technology and innovationExperience in the retail bank/consumer cards marketing businesses coupled with at least 8 years of experience in developing and launching new banking services, debit and credit cards, e-payment services and other digital products/services in a financial institutionWorld-class International standard level of client-facing and presentation skillsProven records of designing solutions for issuers, merchants and ability to connect business leaders with technical leadersStrong business acumen and management skillsDegree qualified in business and/or technology.
