Williams Lea, a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) firm, seeks a visionary and hands-on Senior Manager to spearhead the establishment and oversight of a Machine Learning and Data Science Center of Excellence.

This strategic role will be instrumental in driving AI and tech enablement initiatives across the company's diverse service offerings, creating market differentiation, increasing profit margins, and delivering superior service to clients.

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager will lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge machine learning (ML) and large language model (LLM) solutions.These solutions will leverage structured and unstructured data to automate workflows and revolutionize service delivery.The role aims to transform the company into a technology-driven powerhouse by fostering innovation and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the ML and Data Science Center of Excellence, aligning with overall business objectives and tech enablement goals.Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team of ML engineers, data scientists, and domain experts.Evaluate and select appropriate ML models, frameworks, and technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kafka) to address specific business challenges.Collaborate with stakeholders (CTO, CEO, SVP of Legal Services, Product Management, Development teams) to integrate ML and LLM solutions into impactful projects.Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI legislation).Oversee end-to-end development and deployment of ML and LLM solutions.Establish best practices, standards, and processes for ML model development and production deployment.Develop performance metrics and KPIs aligned with business objectives.

Essential Skills:

Proven expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.Hands-on experience in building and deploying end-to-end ML solutions.Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency in ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker) for scalable ML model deployment.Understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical AI principles.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Experience Required:

-Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience.

-Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing ML and data science teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

-Extensive experience in cloud-based ML model deployment, leveraging infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and MLOps best practices.

-Experience working in regulated industries, with a strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, EU AI legislation).

-Proven success in driving ML and AI initiatives that have resulted in measurable business impact, such as process automation, cost optimization, or revenue growth.

-Exposure to a range of industries and domains, with the ability to quickly understand and apply ML solutions to diverse business problems.

-Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management frameworks for successful delivery of ML and AI projects.
