About the job

As Head of Logistics at HAY, you will lead and develop the logistics organization consisting of 10 highly skilled employees that on a day-to-day basis are led by 2 team leaders.

You will actively engage in the development of the operational platform in HAY together with the operational leadership and be a significant contributor in the overall management community to secure scale for growth.

In addition to the day-to-day management and development of the team to secure competences long term, other daily responsibilities and tasks will more specifically include:

Overall accountable and responsible for end-to-end logistics operation within HAY, and the 3PL set-upLead the development and execution of logistics/warehousing strategy across HAYSecure timely and accurate information to stakeholders regarding cost, performance & serviceEnsure that HAY’s logistical infrastructure initiatives are aligned with customer requirements, and delivers top-/bottom line growthLiaise with our 3PL service providers and other stakeholders to drive sustainability and compliance agendaLiaise with management, sales, procurement to secure communication around HAY’s distribution/warehousing strategy, roadmap and related initiatives, corresponding progress and statusSecure legislation compliance and timely implementation within HAY

Experience required

Minimum 5-8 years of management experience within the world of logisticsRelevant experience in the design industry working in a global company with many item numbers and a complex organisation is considered an advantageYou can communicate fluently in both Danish and English and understand the importance of collaborating and communicating across departments and the organisation both in Denmark and abroad
