Ensuring Citi’s products and benefits remain at the forefront of the credit card industry is critical to the continued momentum and success of U.S. Rewards Products & Loyalty Programs. The Head of Innovation, New Product Development and Delivery will be responsible for leading the innovation, defining, developing and delivering the next generation of credit card products, services and benefits that will win the heart, mind and wallet of customers. The role will work in partnership with key internal stakeholders (Product, Loyalty, Benefits, Marketing, CX, Technology, Research, Operations, Legal, Control and Compliance, etc.) and external partners to define and deliver an aggressive roadmap of innovation, that balances both short-and long-term business growth. This leader will oversee a team of innovators, development and delivery professionals accountable for producing best-in-class products, benefits and services that will break through a very competitive space, capture and grow market share.
The role requires a visionary leader, with a proven track record of developing and launching new products that have made a material contribution in growing market share. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to set a vision, strategy and execute a plan while navigating a highly matrixed, cross-functional organization to drive results. The leader will be customer obsessed, have a strong understanding of the current regulatory environment, and be well versed in emerging technology, evolving payments, services, loyalty and consumer trends.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the development and launch of new credit card products, features, services and benefits including the design and go-to-market strategy in partnership with key internal stakeholders (Product, Loyalty, Benefits, Marketing, CX, Technology, Research, Operations, Legal, Control and Compliance, etc.) and external partners.
+ Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points across key credit card portfolios, loyalty and benefit programs. Be well versed in the consumer regulations and the current regulatory environment, emerging technology, evolving payments, services, loyalty and consumer trends.
+ Develop strategic product roadmaps, product development, program launches, and program marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product.
+ Maintain and develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by all key stakeholders.
+ Define and dimension a robust set of KPI’s to track, measure and monitor performance pre and post launch.
+ Survey, analyze and track the competitive landscape to benchmark, identify new trends, threats, and opportunities.
+ Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
+ Work with internal and external partners to ensure deliverables and milestones are on track. Mitigate roadblocks impacting successful completion of release/sprint goals.
+ Communicate and present product development and delivery timelines, roadmaps and status to various levels of leadership.
+ Balance exceptional solutions against timelines and capacity. Leverage ability to influence key stakeholders for the best possible outcome.
+ Be a champion for employee development.
**Qualifications:**
+ 15+ years of relevant experience.
+ Deep understanding of design thinking methodologies with experience in new product development, strategy and execution.
+ Strong leadership and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
+ Ability to develop strategies, gather resources, and inspire a diverse set of individuals
+ Experience operating in a matrixed environment including managing cross functional areas (e.g. product management, finance, risk, decision management, research, marketing, technology, digital, and operations)
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
+ Strong quantitative abilities and understanding of P&L dynamics
+ In-depth knowledge of industry and competitor products/services
+ Calm under pressure, with an ability to create order out of chaos.
+ Ability to understand business objectives and distill into features, and high-level requirements.
+ Organized, capable of tracking multiple deadlines and deliverables for stakeholders and technical teams.
+ Technically savvy, with knowledge of APIs, digital user experience and how it integrateswith the back-end framework, batch files and more.
+ Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00
