About the Role:
The Head of Global People Services (GPS) role will lead a team that provides centralized HR services across the global organization to enable efficiency, standardization and cost optimization.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
Develop a vision and strategy for the HR Global People Services function aligned to business priorities. Ability to connect operational objectives with strategic business goalsEstablish and monitor key performance indicators and service level agreements for the HR Global People Services team to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure global consistency and standards of serviceOversee the day-to-day operations of the global HR Global People Services Center including HR administration, tier 1 employee advice, simple policy interpretation etc. across multiple regions and countriesOptimize global processes and policies to maximize automation and self-service optionsPartner with the HR Platforms team to implement global technologies and tools to enhance the service delivery worldwideMotivate, develop and lead a team of HR professionals to achieve KPIs and service excellence. Set clear direction and priorities to drive global consistencyBuild a customer service and solutions-oriented culture that operates globallyPartner with HR leadership and business leaders across the global organization to understand their needs and determine how HR Shared Services can support them. Navigate regional and country-specific requirementsBuild trusted relationships and manage global stakeholders at all levels within an organisationMonitor global budget, costs and resources required to deliver quality service worldwide. Identify opportunities to reduce costs through global process and technology improvementsKeep up-to-date with trends and best practices in global HR Global People Services and related technologies. Continually enhance the function's capabilities and service quality globallyPromote a culture of continuous improvement, demonstrating agility to changing business conditions, resources, and technologies inside a complex global organizationSkills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, HR or related field, MBA preferredProven progressive global HR experience, including experience in a leadership role managing HR services team across multiple countries.Expert knowledge of HR technologies and driving digitization of people operationsDeep experience with data analytics, reporting and performance dashboardsExcellent relationship management and strategic planning skillsStrong business acumen with ability to link HR to business objectivesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience implementing process excellence frameworks (Lean, Six Sigma, etc)Experience supporting large organizational restructurings resulting from mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and broader operational shifts within the businessWork in a way that works for you
