Overview Publicis Media, part of Publicis Groupe, is now looking for a Head of Growth, leading newbiz on the Swedish market. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a result- and relationship-oriented leader, passionate about newbiz and with extensive media agency experience. The Head of Growth will be key to growth and the future success of Publicis Media. The role is based in Stockholm, Sweden. Responsibilities New Business Leadership: · Development of newbiz Strategy and plan and leadership of Nordic regional and local media pitches as well as global pitches in the Nordic region. · Ensure newbiz success through strong market activity, excellent pitch work, motivated teams, and best-in-class presentations. · Be the internal champion for growth and build a culture of winning, where pitching is fun and fuels the development of our people and great work. Prospecting: · Ensure a continuous strong prospecting strategy; a proactive and organized approach to identifying targets and turning new opportunities into Publicis clients. · Develop and maintain great relationships with clients, prospects, pitch consultants, and auditors. Team: · Together with Agency Lead and internal stakeholders, ensure that we have strong and motivated pitch teams. · Provide strategic and operational leadership; inspire confidence and coach the teams to deliver their best work. · Make sure that goals, roles, responsibilities, and deadlines are clear and that we have an efficient use of internal resources. Process & Quality: · Ensure a clear and efficient process for running new business pitches, a process that is continuously updated and improved as we get new learnings. · Lead pitch orchestration together with key stakeholders. · Ensure high quality in all newbiz work, from process to content and presentation. · Continuously implement learnings from previous pitches to improve our newbiz work and conversion/success rate. Commercials: · Support Nordic Commercial Director with contract negotiations with clients and their procurement team Strategy & Storytelling: · Together with our Chief Strategy Officer, lead the evolution of the Publicis narrative in pitches. · Partner with Global Business Development team and central capability teams to ensure that we use the right frameworks, tools and models. · Work closely together with internal and Nordic stakeholders to build solutions that integrate capabilities across the group and deliver best-in-class Power of One solutions. Qualifications You have min least 7 years’ experience in media/marketing and a solid knowledge of marketing, media strategy, media planning and buying, digital development, performance, data and technology. You have a good understanding and interest in data, analytics, tech and ai with focus on the value it can bring to our clients. You have experience in developing and implementing successful media strategies and campaigns on a local and/or Nordic level. You know how to drive change for companies, brands, and people, and translating strategy into concrete solutions to fuel growth for clients. You have a successful track record in new business development from a media agency and are ambitious with a passion for winning. You possess a commercial mindset and always strive for business growth. You are great at building relationships. You are a true team player who loves to collaborate/partner with colleagues, clients, pitch consultants, media vendors and other partners. You enjoy motivating people and to build high-performing teams. You have exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. You are a great storyteller and can explain complex things in simple ways to make people understand and follow your guidance. You are strategic and operational with strong problem-solving skills; very result- and solution-oriented, self-driven, and epitomize a “can-do” attitude with a positive drive. You can easily roll up your sleeves and produce work as well as lead you team to deliver on goals and plans. You are well organized and perform well in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines. You are curious, embrace change, and foster a culture of learning and constant development. You can easily come up with new, innovative thinking. You are fluent in Swedish and English and thrive in an international setting.
