Job Summary: 

The Head, Governance, Risk & Compliance – Yodlee is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing the risks related to our growing Data & Analytics business and related product suite. This role leads a team dedicated to ensuring compliance and managing risk in the creation, marketing, and selling of new D&A products. Additionally, the Head of GRC serves as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Office of the Comptroller of Currency (OCC) and Australia’s Treasury, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), United Kingdom’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Canada’s Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC),  and in maintaining strong relationships to stay informed about regulatory changes and advocate for the company's interests. They also engage with clients to educate and communicate the business’s governance and compliance framework to help ensure seamless and compliant interactions. This position will be responsible for reviewing the current GRB framework, and is expected to identify potential gaps, review current and new regulation and best practices, and socialize, implement, and audit for compliance with the applicable controls, policies, and procedures.  This role is expected to contribute to strategic initiatives such as Open Banking and Alternative Data products. The role also includes implementing a client governance assessment framework and leading the training and development of professionals across the department and organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as the subject matter expert, leveraging business acumen and expertise to develop and implement the vision and strategy for Yodlee’s compliance teams.Deliver governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) and privacy thought leadership by developing and implementing a comprehensive GRC framework that oversees evidence, monitoring, and client communication.Define department goals and determine necessary resources, timelines, and deliverables to drive results and meet those goals. Lead, mentor, and develop professionals across the department and organization.Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulators to stay informed about regulatory changes and to advocate for the company's interests.Engage with clients to understand their compliance concerns ensuring that their interactions with the company are seamless and compliant.Ensure effective interface and management of both external and internal audits, addressing any findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.Oversee enterprise risk management (ERM) for Yodlee, including the development of a risk scorecard that encompasses sales, product, operations, technology, and data, ensuring alignment with corporate risk and compliance.Contribute to other strategic initiatives, such as Open Banking and Alternative Data products, ensuring that compliance and risk management are integral parts of these initiatives.Identify and manage compliance and conduct risks related to the creation, marketing, and selling of new Yodlee products, including consumer data productions, aggregation, verification, payment, and credit products.Independently evaluate and make recommendations to the decision-making and risk management processes within the business.Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including product and sales teams, to transparently facilitate dialogue, influence stakeholders to gain support necessary to achieve results, and effectively implement solutions.Author and review compliance policies, standards, and bulletins to maintain awareness of requirements.Create and deliver compliance training presentations to emphasize important regulatory and policy principles.Adhere to and apply Envestnet's legal, compliance, risk, business continuity, and administrative policies within the role and department(s), including the timely completion of training and awareness, affirmations, and testing as requested.Understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls, and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications: 

Proven experience in regulatory matters, particularly with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and managing audits and outcomes to ensure compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).Demonstrated experience in governance, risk, privacy and compliance managementDirect experience with compliance frameworks and working with internal and external teams on educating and informing on GRC matters.Experience guiding customers and internal stakeholders on GRC strategies in the compliance and regulatory area, translating regulatory and risk management business requirements into executable solutions.An undergraduate degree is required. An advanced degree, ideally an MBA, is desirable.Demonstrated success leading cross-functional and dynamic compliance, risk management, while developing and mentoring experienced professionals.Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and guiding a team of GRC professionals, with a proven track record of hands-on involvement in driving successful compliance and risk management initiatives.High energy, driven, with an entrepreneurial bent. Confident, decisive, and adaptable.Senior-level strategy, communication, and presentation skills are required. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, patient, customer-oriented, analytical, strategic, mature, have a global mindset, and knowledge of foreign protocol and industry.Ability to prioritize company objectives and meet aggressive deadlines, with outstanding team leadership, team development, and communication skills.Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory bodies and clients, ensuring compliance and addressing their needs and concerns.Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive GRC frameworks.Demonstrated learning agility to quickly understand the creation, marketing, and selling of new Yodlee products, including consumer data productions, aggregation, verification, payment, and credit products.Ability to work proactively to maintain, enhance, and develop an effective control environment and provide a compliance perspective during the creation of new products and innovations.

Salary:

The annual base salary range for this position is $225,000 to $280,000.
