Job Description

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance is a key senior leadership role responsible for the full spectrum of financial operations across the business. You will lead a dedicated team and manage everything from financial reporting and compliance to strategic planning and commercial support. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure operational excellence while contributing to long-term strategy. You'll work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels, providing trusted insights that shape the organisation's financial direction and performance.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead and oversee all functions of the Finance Department, including reporting, compliance, budgeting, and transactional processing.Deliver accurate, timely financial reports in line with AASB, IFRS, and ASX requirements.Manage the external audit process and relationships with auditors, banks, and regulators.Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives.Provide commercial and strategic support to executive leadership, including financial modelling, forecasting, and planning.Manage cash flow, capital expenditure, risk and regulatory compliance.Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, instilling a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement.The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will have a Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent) and CA / CPA accreditation, bringing over five years' experience in senior finance leadership roles, including Head of Finance positions within ASX-listed organisations. In addition to this you will be technical capable across corporate finance, compliance, statutory reporting requirements under AASB and IFRS. In addition to their technical expertise, they demonstrate a collaborative leadership style with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and grow high-performing finance teams.
