Head of Digital Marketing: Investec Wealth & Investment International and Private Client HNW (10451)

Description of the role 

We are seeking a visionary Head of Digital Marketing to play a strategic role transcending traditional digital marketing responsibilities. This role involves close partnership with IT and front office teams to drive growth and innovation, while leading digital initiatives for our private client strategy.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

Leadership - create and manage a team of multi-disciplinary individuals who work cohesively together to reach the digital marketing maturity goals. Ensure this team is appropriately skilled, supported and setup for success. Coach individuals on their personal growth and assist them to create their development plans. People -  Build in channel expertise inside the team. Connected journey across all digital media (incl earned & owned). Adoption of a test & learn culture in our activity. Execution -  Align owned channels to media for effective and effecitient delivery Technology - Build deeper relationships with technology suppliers and IT Data and automation -  Start the process to set an attribution approach to more holistically for measure performance in a post-cookie environment. 

Strategic involvement and forums include Group Marketing Technology Forum, My Investments, National Sales Forum, CRM Reporting Ongoing Workstream, Leadership Forum, OPS Updates, IT Updates, Digital Marketing Forum and Regional Deal Forums. 

Role Expectations

Engage and consult with the business areas to ensure that the digital function of marketing is supporting short-, medium- and long-term growth, retention, and cross-selling goals. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the business goals and enhances brand visibility and client engagement across all digital platforms. Partner with IT and front office teams to leverage technology for marketing automation, data analytics, and customer relationship management to identify new growth opportunities. Own and manage any digital projects that impact multiple segments e.g. tech changes including discovery, analysis, scoping, execution, delivery and adoption. Adoption of in-platform data modelling & forecasting functionality. Increase in 1st party data collection and improve match rates for activation. Lead and integrate digital marketing efforts across the departments, ensuring cohesive messaging and optimized strategies in various markets. Spearhead the digital component of our private client strategy, creating personalized digital experiences and targeted campaigns that cater to the needs of high-net-worth individuals. Collaborate with other digital marketers within the firm, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation to drive continuous improvement in digital marketing practices. Manage the digital marketing budget effectively, allocating resources for maximum impact. Measure and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, making data-driven decisions to ensure achievement of the firm's strategic objectives. Ability to deal with a wide variety of people and adapt/navigate accordingly 

Description of the skill and experience required 

Minimum 7 years of Digital experience  Experience in leading teams and executing on the ground Excellent general marketing knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills A person of action in the spirit of getting things done, but not at the cost of relationships Knack for business and the thrill of a fast paced environment Able to thrive in an environment that constantly questions and challenges Tough and human Can move with ease from a strategic conversation with an executive to taking minutes in a meeting  Not easily flustered by surprises and changing course mid project Seeks to solve constructively before dwelling on the negative aspects of a challenge.
