**The Customer Marketing Team**
To enhance the Diageo’s customer engagement and commercial success, the customer marketing team needs to bridge between various commercial functions to support the overall planning, designing creative customer activation programmes, and the ultimate execution of the plans.
**About the Role**
To enable Diageo’s category growth & brand building agenda, we are searching for a customer marketing leader to head up the customer activation strategy as well as building transactional tactic and excellence.
The key objective of the role is to further develop the joint sales and marketing partnerships with customers. This role requires comprehensive understanding of B2B2C/ B2C business model, of portfolio and campaign planning of relevant channels, and of breakthrough customer marketing activities and strategies/plans.
Key Dimensions
+ Channel Activation Strategy - develop overall Diageo B2B2C Channel content strategy in accordance with Diageo business agenda and brand strategy, drive content adaptation and asset development in both online and offline.
+ Customer Marketing Execution - adapt the consumer marketing plans to the needs of trade/channel/ platform differentiation and product insights to enhance our portfolio and channel matrix.
+ Strategic Planning and Evaluation - set full year trade investment strategy and shopper strategy for responsive channel and collaborate with regarding parties/customers/platform to drive its timely delivery and investment effectiveness.
+ Nurture and Invest in Talent - collaborate closely with the customer, brand activation and marketing team, with the developing talent and capability building mentality in core.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead on-trade and off-trade Customer Marketing team and brand activation team to drive portfolio strategy with strong product insight and channel/platform differentiation
+ Develop overall Diageo B2B2C Channel content strategy which in line with Diageo business strategy as well as brand strategy, drive content adaptation including visual merchandising and short video for asset development
+ Develop strategy and annual plan for Diageo Brand Activation in main platforms
+ Set full year trade investment strategy and shopper strategy for B2B2C with strong expertise, Lead team and collaborate with platforms/customers to drive onsite media strategy, investment, and efficiency with shopper insights
+ Collaborate closely with customers, brand activation team and marketing team
+ Lead team development and capability building
**Requirements**
+ Strong consumer or category marketing & activation capabilities with a touch of luxury flair is desired
+ Masterful skills at identifying the key wins/opportunities and drive/synergise the alignment with internal and external parties
+ An energetic character and nurturing leader, who is keen to explore new ideas and can inspire the team to achieve beyond
+ Strong presentation and communication command
+ Leadership experience to lead diversified team for capability development with strong coaching skill
+ An individual with timely responsible nature and ability to work in a matrix organization, managing complexity and challenges across regions
+ MS Office tools, especially Excel
+ Domestic travel required
+ English proficiency is must; Mandarin Chinese level can be evaluated subject to work visa situation
