Head of Commercial will be part of the Teva South Africa leadership team to develop and drive the commercial strategy.

How you’ll spend your day Work closely with business partners to drive Teva products performance in the SA market. Drive Sales activities to achieve or exceed business objectives, sales growth, and profitability targets for each sales channel. Forecast revenue projections on a monthly basis. Annalise data and utilize data to identify more efficient and effective ways to run projects, grow sales and positively influence market condition. Work closely with portfolio and marketing to identify and develop new business opportunities and innovative go to market strategies. Negotiate & manage commercial agreements with business partners to optimize Teva’s current and future product launches. Work closely with local management in parallel to the headquarters key functions. Responsible to drive Teva’s commercial operations in focused African countries. Oversee all Teva’s tender activities and operations. Your experience and qualifications A strong commercial leaders with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry with deep knowledge of the South African & African market. The role require a strong self-starter that has a firm understanding of leading under pressure and the dynamics of the South African market. Experience of min 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry in a senior commercial level. (Preferably head of sales in a top pharma company) Education Preferred: MBA or equivalent. Strong personality with high EQ and resolve, with strong self-awareness and agility that will fit into the Teva culture. Strong comprehension of diffident business partners, and how to meld with Teva objectives. Knack for strategy and a flair for business development. The role expect interaction with different internal and partner teams, must be able to understand and interact with different divisions and individuals  within and outside of Teva, driving performance with great understanding of cultural and commercial objectives. The role requires a broad scope analysis and understanding of the pharmaceutical market, including its players, products, regulatory IP requirements as well as the entire competition landscape. Advance workable knowledge of MS Excel and MS office products. Proven track record for self-development and deep understanding of leadership team dynamics. Track record of implementing strategies and business models. Willing to embrace changes needed to adapt to new trends. Creates new ideas and processes, drive performance by doing things that are unique and cutting edge. Acts with a high sense of urgency. Reports To
