This role can be based at any of our European offices, with regular visits to our Haarlem location.
Who’s right for the role?At heart an imaginative, dynamic, business analyst and commercial partner: strong strategic thinker, financially-literate, a data-driven individual who will partner and help shape the growth strategies based on emerging customer needs, market developments and insights and analytics. You need to be an “outside in thinker”.
The role will cover the whole portfolio, both new products and existing late-stage products to help shape strategic decisions for life-cycle management. You will need to work with the full gamut of business functions e.g.: Market Access, Launch Management & Finance.
The role comes with a high degree of autonomy allowing the freedom to determine the target markets and which strategic services will be developed against the overall goals.
Much of the work will be developed in teams relying on other business functions and therefore a naturally team-spirit is essential!
The opportunityAs part of Teva’s multi-year- continuous improvement and growth programme we have created a new role at Teva reporting into the Head of Innovative Medicines and European Marketing and working with therapy area leads, affiliates and functional partners in Amsterdam.
A key aspect of this role is the opportunity to shape and set up the Center of Excellence business unit. The aim is to identify new growth opportunities, innovative ways to optimize commercial spend and resource, and critically to find best local growth practice and scale up across the region.
How you’ll spend your day Analyze and recommend customer engagement models (internal/external) & go to market models Develop growth & efficiencies initiatives in consultation with market opportunities Lead the inline product business case development and approval process Formulate both short-term and long-term financial plans, ensuring the sustainable growth of the portfolio. Lead the Business Insights, Competitive Intelligence (CI), and Analytics teams, driving strategy and overseeing the creation of best-in-class KPI reports and dashboards to track and evaluate progress. Leading Forecasting and strategy team and developing models for inline & pipeline products and BD opportunities In close relationship with SPA & market access, responsible for supply chain integrity and tender recommendations. Build strong collaboration with the Center of Excellence (CoE) team in Zagreb, driving cross-functional synergy and the exchange of best practices. Be a key part of the IX leadership team, helping shape strategic decisions.
Your experience and qualifications Bachelor degree in business, Master degree in business preferred A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic and transformational leadership positions in pharma industry or FMCG Experience in guiding teams in forecasting and data-driven insights Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle complex analyses. Intermediate Finance knowledge Strong change management skills and innovation mindset Strong influencing/negotiation skills combined with business acumen Team player, i.e. experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative and multicultural environment Excellent presentation skills Fluent in English, Willingness to travel (approx. 10-20%)
