Head of B2B Lending, EU, WW SMB Financing

The WW SMB Financing organization is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to drive our European lending business across UK, DE and future EU markets. This role presents a unique opportunity to scale a high-impact program that helps small businesses succeed through innovative working capital solutions, combining strategic business leadership with deep customer understanding in a true startup environment within Amazon.

As Head of B2B Lending EU, you will own the P&L and end-to-end business strategy for our European lending marketplace. You will lead a team that is reimagining how sellers access working capital, collaborating with our central business development team to partner with leading financial institutions in delivering fast, easy and affordable financing solutions. This role offers significant scope for expansion as we scale across additional EU markets.

The B2B lending category is fast growing and quickly evolving, you will play the critical role of being the chief commercial officer of your business. In this role you will be work with external senior executives and internal teams, have responsibility for revenue and profitability growth plans, relationship management, rapid experimentation with pricing and promotions, and monitoring and reacting to industry and competitive trends.

The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial management skills, high fluency in demand generation/traffic marketing and have a background in credit and debit cards, payments, financial services, with significant experience in e-commerce.

Key job responsibilities
• Business Leadership: Drive P&L ownership, business strategy, and operational excellence for our Amazon B2B Lending business across UK and DE markets with expansion potential to broader EU
• Product Innovation: Own the EU product vision and roadmap, working with our dedicated 50 person tech team and science team to design and launch market-leading financing solutions
• Customer Experience: Define and deliver seamless seller experiences from discovery through servicing, optimizing for our speed, ease and cost value pillars
• Partner Collaboration: Work closely with our central business development team to manage strategic relationships with banking and fintech partners to scale our lending capabilities
• Growth & Expansion: Develop and execute market entry strategies for new EU countries while scaling existing markets
• Team Leadership: Initially manage a two-person team with potential to expand into a full people management role as we scale across Europe
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, and regional teams to deliver an integrated lending experience
