Head of Asset Partnerships & Planning, Data Acquisition

We are looking for a Head of Asset Partnerships & Planning, Data Acquisition who is influential, emotionally intelligent, and innovative to join us in our Global Integrated Insights and Analytics team, based in our United States headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 40% on site presence and 5-10% international/ domestic travel.


About the role

You will develop a clear vision, strategic plan, and operating model to develop data strategies supporting all therapeutic areas in various stages of their life cycle, from development to commercialization, as well as the overall portfolio. You will lead a team of one to six therapeutic area data strategy specialists to define and execute data strategy that generates data-driven actionable insights, creating significant patient and enterprise value.

 

Who you’ll work with

You will build a team of direct and indirect reports and work with other Data Acquisition team members, Integrated Insights Hub Leads, IT, the Data Office, Real-World Evidence (RWE), advanced analytics, translational medicine, medical leads, asset leads, regional and functional commercial leaders.


What you’ll do

Your contribution will greatly advance the insight and evidence generation, strategic planning and patient value creation for our assets. You will:

Drive significant business impact through a well-designed data acquisition strategy focused on our key assetsLead a team of Asset partner therapeutic area specialists in evaluating potential data against identified use cases to generate both routine and ad hoc actionable insights Define the overall vision, operating model, processes, roles and responsibilities for the team; coach and mentor team membersMaintain a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare data landscape and internal data assets (such as patient-level claims, EMR, labs, genetics, prescribers, and sales) along with a solid understanding of analytic applications Lead the team in the creation of comprehensive short- and long-term data roadmaps to support individual therapeutic areas and the overall portfolioEngage with data acquisition colleagues to identify the right data assets to meet business needs, assessing opportunities, enabling experiments, and ensuring a competitive advantage for UCBDrive the flawless implementation of the data strategy across the portfolio and ensure an optimal end-user experienceIdeate and drive data innovation in support of the selected therapeutic areas

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Master/Doctor’s degree in quantitative area is preferred, Bachelor’s is requiredMinimum of 7 years’ experience in advising companies on data strategy for pre and post launch applicationsStrong experience working with various forms of pharmaceutical data.Minimum of 7 years of experience partnering to create an exceptional user experience for data access, cleansing, tools etc.Expert knowledge of the United States, European and Japanese data landscape

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $184,000 - $241,500 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
