Head of Acquisition, Uber Direct
**About the Role** - Value Proposition Design - Define the USPs of Uber Direct to differentiate our product/service in a highly commoditized and competitive market. - Pipeline Management - Guide the team to prioritise resourcing the right merchants, taking into consideration growth trajectory and financial sustainability, and directly engaging C-level as needed to progress. - Merchant GTM - Lead the team to identify levers to close deals as a preferred partner. Align the merchant's internal stakeholders and required resources to prioritize growth in their channel. - Team Management - Establish a highly productive team to achieve ambitious growth targets. Work closely to influence a broader range of local, regional and global stakeholders to remove blockers, build growth flywheel, and achieve commercial goals. **Basic Qualifications** - 8+ years of professional work experience in a related field (start-up, business development, strategy, supply chain, tech, consulting). - Sales and commercial acumen - ability to build creative commercial strategy, and lead a team of people to acquire quality deals under intense competitive pressure. We are looking for a leader who understands our partners' motivations, is capable of navigating difficult commercial conversations and can coach the team to curate the Go-To-Market strategy and the operational excellence goals expected from our partners. - Leadership - the ability to rally and motivate a team behind a common goal, even in rapidly changing situations and disruptive environments.
