The head coach of men’s basketball is responsible for the administration of all phases of the men’s basketball program.

The anticipated start date for this position is July 2025.

Core Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Must demonstrate effective teaching and coaching skills, technique and tactics. Plan, organize and implement effective practices. Organize and implement effective recruiting strategies. Attract and retain qualified applicants. Responsible for fiscal management and public relations with parents, alumni and friends of the program. Maintain effective communication with alumni and parents. Communicate effectively with a diverse constituency of student-athletes, staff, and faculty. Teach lifetime sports in the Physical Education program. Mentor student-athletes. 

 

General Responsibilities: 

Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics, including, but not limited to Event Management and other administrative responsibilities. Maintain CPR/AED/First Aid Certification. Knowledge of NESCAC and NCAA regulations.
