SummaryCleans hatchers, hatcher tops and hatcher room so as to maintain a low to zero bacteria and mold level. Empties hatcher racks back in to the hatcher room at completion of clean up. This position is a 3rd shift position, 10 pm-7 am.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities Cleans hatchers, hatcher tops and hatcher room so as to maintain a low to zero bacteria and mold level. Empties hatcher racks back in to the hatcher room at completion of clean up. Must be able to use broom, shovel, mop and scrub brushes to remove poult down, and work with chemicals to effectively wash and disinfect hatchers through hand scrubbing and high pressure washer. Assembly of poult boxes General housekeeping Alarm checks Must follow poultry welfare guidelines. Minimum EducationHigh school or equivalent
Experience Requirements Experience PreferredReading and writing skills preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements Exposed to temperatures ranging from 60 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and humidities up to 100%. Exposed to chemicals, drups and vaccines to be covered in MSDS training and hazardous communications. Use personal protective equipment as required. Ability to lift up to 75# Must be able to work in a wet, damp, dusty (poult down) environment.
