- Understand the Hardware Requirements Specification (HRS) document /design implementation and define the test scenarios - Capable to design the test hardware as per test requirements - Position also requires working on multiple projects/programs concurrently in a fast-paced environment. - Independently drive a project and ensure delivery/cost per schedule. - Review product schematic diagrams/requirements documents and design Test Panels, Cable assemblies, mechanical fixtures, and design documents. - Develops ways to improve test method and processes that provides the highest test coverage resulting in increased yield. - Improves and supports current business needs. - Independently participate in the customer telecoms and responding queries without delays. - Requires technical ownership on assigned projects. - Should be able to resolve the problem on his own, with very limited support from Lead. - Understanding of core processes and compliance. - Interacts with project team members and peers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues. - Significantly contribute towards Quote Estimates (QE) and Basis of Estimates (BOE). - Significant contribution to Value stream mapping (VSM) deployment, Business/Personal Improvements and productivity.Should have 3-5 yrs of relevant work experience. - Should hold a Bachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical and Electronic Engineering or an appropriate discipline and have expertise and experience in test engineering. - Hands on experience in test hardware/software design, minimum 2-3 Projects. - Experienced in ATEs (Automated Test Equipment) and Interface Test Adapter/Cable harness design; includes mechanical and electrical. - Experienced in functional testing of an electronic product. - Experienced in circuit analysis and hands on experience in simulation tools like SABER or Circuit Maker or PSPICE. - Good knowledge of Instruments and their usage (Measuring & Sourcing instruments) - Proficient in C, LabVIEW or Lab Windows/CVI programming. - Advanced level of knowledge in Electronic Components, connectors, switching methods and ITA design. - Proven practical experience in the analysis/troubleshooting of the Test Equipment & Test software. - Good oral and written communication skills. - Procurement, build and integration experience. - Ability to understand schematics, assembly drawings and PBA layouts. - Knowledge on instrumentation related to Airflow, Temperature and Pressure sensors will be an added advantage. - Knowledge in Electro-mechanical domain will be an added advantage. - Six sigma certified will be an added advantage
